Sunset rum punch off the coast of St Barth.

December 15, 2010 13 Comments

[Our sister ship, SeaDream I, beat us to St. Barth, but the duo was broken up when she steamed away at sunset.]

So this was our sunset routine—grab some drinks from Roland up at the Top of the Yacht Bar and have the whole aft deck to ourselves. Living life at a different pace. You’d be surprised how easy it is to adjust. But that’s probably just the rum talking.

The above picture makes me want to shout this line from Overboard at the top of my lungs:

I’m not bored! I’m quite happy! Everyone wants to be me!

I’m so horrified to be back in NY right now. Only Eli’s eager, grey face is thawing out the cold. More down memory lane in a bit; someone has to make me pay for eating brie cheese every day for breakfast. What the devil was I thinking.

I love you for quoting that line. It’s almost as good as “Kaaaak!!! I just…ate a bug!!!”

    So glad you’re home!
    Merci,

Welcome back pretty girl! Yes, you have been missed. Look at those smokin’ hot tan legs! No burns I hope.

I on the other hand, have been a very bad girl while you were away. Temporary insanity. Look at what I have done:

Almost as cute as a kitten. Her name is Tessa and she will be coming next week. I think. As long as I can get my mother on board to puppy sit while I am away. I just have to work out that one little detail. 😉

Horrified is right. I have a really hard time comprehending that there is weather anywhere else in the world where you can wear what you are wearing in this post (oh god, too many Ws) while it is so frighteningly cold here. I’ve gotten to the point where I look like a hobo from Twin Peaks walking to work in the morning.

Yep, it’s getting freaking cold up her. I can’t wait to gather more warmth from more of your pics! Looks like it was a blast.
