A quick Richmond post from the couch in Saratoga. Wait, what?!

So incredibly good to be back, dudes. And amid all the change here—epic change: new restaurants, breweries, and a shiny new grocery store where once reclined a happy band of crack-hayds that kept us up at night—we still were able to walk down our old street and hear a “Where have you been!?” from a neighbor’s terrace above, wave to a favorite restauranteur, see a familiar old street performer who’s hit puberty in our absence [“Have you evah seeeeen the rain?”], and get help from our Pinot-loving friend at Purdy’s.

Man, we missed you, Upstate NY. New friends (hi, Polo club friend!) and old.

Off to VT in the morning.
