[H&M tank dress + Banana Republic jacket + J.Crew cardigan + Kors booties]
I saw this on the hanger yesterday at H&M and didn’t even try it on before I bought it. Pure perfection: the silky jersey over-layer, the perfect Hanes-style under-layer, icy nude shades, and the side draping—it’s everything about this trend I was looking to try out. For $19.95, I suggest you go out and get yourself one, too.
After posting this pale peach kimono jacket, I went a little nuts for nudes and sent a frantic email to the most awesome C+C reader ever out in Chicago and sent her on a mad mission to Zara for one more gorgeous nude-colored piece. [After contemplating how I was going to get my hands on it for weeks, Rumi debuted it on fashiontoast and I let out a big, ‘Oh, hell no’ in anticipation of the thing selling out overnight, much like the Jessica Simpson Dany platforms I serendipitously snagged.]
I cannot wait to debut it and give her the proper thanks she deserves.
