Corks + Caftans

Shape shifter.

August 3, 2010 9 Comments

Looks like my dry spell preppy streak has dried up. Hello, skull scarf:

I patted my writer’s block on the bottom today and sent her off to ruin someone else’s day.

And that’s how you do a Tuesday, kids: two great client feedbacks in a row, genius copy that makes its way onto the keys and gets it oh-so-right on the first go-round, discovery of two new bands (Miniature Tigers and Fiction Plane, if you’re looking to broaden your horizons a little), meeting my adorable, a cafe glass of chilled Merlot, and an afternoon rain shower.

damn lady, you had a good day all around! congrats on all that good stuff. you look rockin’ as per usual. those boots…need.

also, i LOVE the local natives and have kicked myself for the past two weeks for not going to see them at pitchfork music fest in chicago. kick kick kick. fun trivia fact: did you know the song airplanes is about his grandpa? makes me love them even more.

thanks, natalie! switch the cut offs for white chinos and that’s what I wore to work, then I got bicycle grease on them, so ta-dah. Be on the lookout for a little shout-out I gave R for P in a little feature on another blog!

what kind of puppy would you ideally high five?

    what a thought…

on another note. This fit is superb… your legs… (I say it often but here I go again) INSANE.

Side note: Alex and I are planning a trip to the East Coast for a week. Fashion Week for a bit and then here, there, and wherever.
Just throwing it out there… hint hint. slap slap… wink wink.

    xx
