So this was an awesome day—noontime beer and a lot of improvisational fluting between emails—oh, and it was a Monday?
Normally I’d say it’s pretty rare and cool that we are both working from home for the day. Since the pad is technically my office. And Eli’s hunting ground. I’m gonna go ahead and edit that to “pretty rare and wildly unproductive,” this working together from home for the day.
“Got an idea,” Rob said. “Shoot!” I crowed. “Ok. At exactly 4:30—no, 5—no, 5:30—we’ll stop working, close our laptops,” I nodded along enthusiastically, “…and then sit out on the porch and drink some beers. But until then, we focus.”
But he’d already lost me. I was busy coloring the side of my 20-lb dumbell with an orange Cray-Pas, singing the ABC’s in French.
Random observations: 1. You’re so frigging cool it SLAYS me. 2. Union Jack pillow – me likey. 3. Rhino head on the wall = AWESOME. 4. I haven’t thought of Cray-pas in YEARS. I LOVE those damn things. The end.
